100 Best Gluten-Free Recipes

October is Celiac Disease Awareness Month, and we’ve decided that the best way to celebrate all the delicious ways to eat gluten free is to partner with Carol Fenster to bring you another amazing giveaway!

As many of you already know, Carol is a huge advocate for healthy gluten-free baking at home and author of several amazing cookbooks. We’re delighted to be giving away 3 copies of Carol’s brand new book, 100 Best Gluten-Free Recipes. This book uses beautiful photography to highlight the top requested recipes from her earlier impressive encyclopedia of gluten free cooking, 1,000 Gluten-Free Recipes.

If you’re looking for a great way to get started cooking and baking gluten free, 100 Best Gluten-Free Recipes is a comprehensive, yet condensed guide to label reading, shopping guidelines, and cooking advice. One of the great things about Carol’s new book is how it seamlessly blends classics and trendy recipes alike with handy icons that denote quick, vegetarian, and kids’ favorites.

Just to make this gluten free giveaway a little more fabulous we will also add in a gift pack of some of Carol’s favorite gluten free products. Many of Carol’s recipes call for a special blend of Sorghum Flour and other gluten free ingredients that you can make ahead of time and store for use up to 3 months. You’ll be ready to dive right into making everything from Chicken Noodle Soup with Dumplings to Devil’s Food Layer Cake with Fudge Frosting if you’re one of our lucky winners.

Each of the three winners will receive a package containing The autographed book, and one package each of Sorghum Flour, Potato Starch, and Tapioca Flour so they will be ready to get started using Carol’s special sorghum blend for baking.

I tried signing up for the Savory Palate newsletter numerous times but it doesn’t work!

I posted a comment on Bob’s Red Mill Natural foods profile on facebook. This is what it said.

I would like to win the Gluten Free cookbook by Carol Fenster so I can give it to a friend who has 3 children that can not eat gluten (I just couldn’t imagine what she goes through).

  3. I’d like an opportunity to win Carol’s cookbook because she’s a very respected in GF community and creates great recipes. I have Her “quick & easy” GF meals and my family enjoys the several we have tried already. Love to have her “Top 100″ collection since it will be a huge benefit for quickly finding something to make at home and trusting it will be tasty to eat.

  4. My favourite Bob’s Red Mill product has to be the gluten-free baking mix, it makes things so much easier!

  5. My favorite BRM product is really a hard choice because I use so many of them, but I have to say the xantham gum is fantastic and needed in almost all gluten free recipes! I also love the GF cornbread mix, we use that a lot in our house.

  6. My favorite Bob’s Red Mill product is the baking mix, I love it, I use it in so many recipes, I would love to win a cookbook from Carol, thx for all you do Bob!!

I can’t pick one product. They all are the best. Maybe it will be a toss up between the choc chip cookie and brownies. I so need a gluten free cook book. I have become the local Gluten advisor.

  8. Joanie Shugarman

We love the GF chocolate chip cookies mix. I add slivered almonds to the mix. My husband always gobbles them up before I get a chance to eat 2-3! The interesting part is I am the one with the gluten problem, not him :) We are so happy to find all the products from Bob’s Red Mill!

  9. I love all your flours, and that the gluten free are done separately. You have a product I can count on for my family. The rice flour is finely ground and doesn’t leave a gritty texture – Love it! My son really loves the GF Hearty Whole Grain Bread.

Thanks for great products I can trust!

  10. I don’t have a blog or a website but have done all the other items. But using Bob’s Red Mill for my marketing class “brand fan” website project at PSU due later this month. Best, Laura

  11. Favorite Bob’s Red Mill GF product is the GF chocolate cake, though I certainly couldn’t survive without the GF all purpose flour and the GF baking mix.

  12. I am new to having to follow a gluten free casein free diet. I am not sure which of Bob’s Redmill products I like best. I would love to experiment and find out. I also would love to have a cookbook to guide me in preparing healthy meals for myself and family.

  13. Bob’s has so many items to choose from: I love their GF Oats and and I am a big fan of Carol[‘s mix, so I frequently buy the sorghum flour, potato starch and tapioca starch.

I adapted an apricot bar cookie using Bob’s GF oats, Carol’s blend, xanthum gum as the base, then you add a layer of apricot jam and then top it with the remainder of the dough recipe and bake. Yum!! It tastes almost like a whole wheat based cookie, but is entirely GF.

  14. I love your gluten-free rolled oats because they brought oatmeal cookies and apple crisp back into my celiac husband’s life. We are very grateful for that. Thanks Bob!
